peace but not at any cost

IF you punch someone right or wrong there are all kinds of risks.president Lincoln was told to forget slavery and stop the civil war;So many were dying.He kept going against huge out cries to forget the slaves .Of course there was the Peace in our time man, Chamberlain.  50 MILLION died, Didn't we learn from Pearl Harbor. The list of impossible choice is endless but sometimes they must be made.
